Worst Movies I Have Ever Seen
30 12 2007This is a list of some of the worst movies I have ever seen.1. Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas (2003) This animated Brad Pitt/Michelle Pfeiffer-lead adventure made $6.8 million the first weekend then just over $20 million the next 2 months. Shows that Brad Pitt needs either Angelina Jolie (Mr. and Mrs. Smith) or George Clooney (Ocean’s trilogy) to succeed. OPEN WEEKEND: $6.874 mil. CLOSE: $26.288 mil.2. Live Free or Die Hard (2007) I saw this movie at a friend’s house not too long ago. The action really drove the film, but that was it. There was no spectacular plot. It was just some guy trying to take over the world. It’s the typical action film that makes a lot of money because of awesome visual effects. OPEN WEEKEND: $33.369 mil. CLOSE: $134.275 mil.3. The Longest Yard (2005) This Adam Sandler movie made an attempt to make a football comedy. What the filmmaker didn’t understand is that football movies need to be serious, sports movies in general need, to be taken seriously. Movies like Facing the Giants, Miracle, and The Rookie stay away from overwhelming comedic outbursts and come out as spectacular. OPEN WEEKEND: $26.078 mil. CLOSE: $158.115 mil. (Note: in theatres for 4 months)4. Left Behind: Tribulation Force (2002) (Only released on video) I saw this movie because I read the books (except for the last 2). The first one was one of my favorites, but this one kind of disappointed me. The third movie did the same thing: it strayed away from what the books said. 5. Romeo + Juliet (1996) What in the world? You take Leonardo DiCaprio, one of the upcoming film stars at the time, and make him speak in Old English. Craig Pearce, the screenwriter, has only written one script since this movie, Moulin Rogue!. I’ve never seen it, but I wonder if MR! was bad. These are movies that I never want to see again. But I would tolerate it , well, numbers 5 and 4 I could stand.
