My favorite fictional show on television is beginning its fourth season on Thursday. It’s the show whose mystery, suspense, and never-ending action captivated audiences all across America. It’s LOST, and Jack and Co. are back for Season 4 with Thursday’s premiere episode, “The Beginning of the End.” For a little recap, Jack Shepard (Matthew Fox), Kate Austen (Evangeline Lilly), James “Sawyer” Ford (Josh Holloway) and most of the gang have just made contact with an offshore freighter. John Locke (Terry O’Reilly) is at odds with Jack, having just killed minor character Naomi, who brought the contact device. Meanwhile, Jin (Daniel Dae Kim), Bernard (Sam Anderson), and Sayid (Naveen Andrews) have been captured by a group of Others, mysterious inhabiters of the island before the passengers of Oceanic Flight 815. Ben Linus (Michael Emerson) has been captured by Jack and is warning the doctor to not call the ship. A few years later, Jack meets Kate at an airport and says “We have to go back.” It’s pretty suspenseful.
